Marshall has a diverse dispute resolution profile; he has practised as a mediator, arbitrator, litigator, workplace investigator, coach, and ombudsman.
Since 2010 Marshall has Mediated over 2000 cases where he achieved a very high rate of settlement and served as an Arbitrator in over 1000 cases and written approximately 60 decisions.
Marshall’s experience in workplace investigations, workplace mediation, complaint handling and work as an ombudsman empowers him to help HR professionals, employment lawyers and executives navigate sensitive issues with confidence.
In 2017, he was appointed as the first Chair of the Complaint and Resolution Council for Student Societies (“CRCSS”) at the University of Toronto. He is on the Board of Directors for the ADR Institute of Ontario. As well, Marshall is part of the Ontario Bar Association’s Alternative Dispute Resolution Executive Committee for 2018-19.
